We're building a transformative Digital Marketplace platform and looking for a Senior level Scrum Master to help guide, coach, and help lead in execution.
There will be multiple cross functional teams delivering a comprehensive platform and an engaging mobile application.
The Senior Scrum Master (Digital Marketplace) will report to the Sr.
Director of Engineering for Digital Marketplace.
Job
Responsibilities:
Embody servant leadership and partner with the engineering team and the Product Management (PM) to drive the delivery of working software and technology platforms.
Ensure transparency between all team members and stakeholders on the state of the backlog, team performance, delivery, and work plans Find opportunities for experimentation and growth for continuous improvement, both personally and as a member of a team.
Collaborate with the Product Management to ensure backlog is prioritized in a fashion that minimizes delays and handles dependencies as well as product release plans Actively contributing and guiding to the refinement of work in the backlog by analyzing requirements and acceptance criteria Demonstrates understanding of Agile best practices (concepts like 'Definition of Ready' and 'Definition of Done') and the ability to teach them to others Identify and help resolve risks and impediments Work to recognize and facilitate resolution of dependencies between engineering teams, both internal and external Supervise results and ensure visibility of status and artifacts Facilitate the identification of relevant metrics and define the measurement system Ensures the team understands agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
Monitors scrum team progress and performance to encourage team improvements.
Maintains Platform-wide awareness and focus to assist with resource allocation and ensuring collaboration Facilitating Scrum of Scrums in addition to facilitating their own individual scrum teams
Qualifications:
5
years or more of proven experience running scrum for software development, preferably for consumer facing products that span mobile applications, web, cloud backends, and QA.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
Able to scrum multiple teams, with possibility of leading other scrum masters Good grasp on concepts like DevOps, API's, microservices, SDLC Excellent interpersonal skills including organizational, team building, and issue resolution Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
