Our team is growing and we are searching for a Medical Assistant to join our team! Who We're Looking For:
6 months - 1 year Clinical Experience.
Good eye for detail to spot mistakes/inconsistencies in medical documentation.
Possess a superior understanding of Medical language and terminology.
Well acquainted with anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments.
Type 55 words per minute minimum.
Must be computer savvy.
Patience, Enthusiasm & Excellent Customer Service Skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
Greeting patients always with a smile to assist in completing paperwork; answering questions and providing respectful and courteous support.
Perform medical assistant duties such as recording vitals, and office tests.
Produce medical reports, correspondence, records, patient-care information, and administrative material.
Accompany and shadow infusion nurses supporting overall infusion workflow.
Coordinating and prioritizing patient support with the Medical & Administrative Team.
Faxing, filing, and other clerical duties as needed.
Always safeguarding and maintaining patient confidentiality by abiding by company policy and HIPAA regulation.
